Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of genomic data analysis strategies, including WGS, WES, and RNA-Seq data.

• Collaborate with biologists and clinicians to interpret genomic findings and translate them into actionable research hypotheses.
• Build and maintain robust, scalable bioinformatics pipelines and workflows.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the technical direction of the genomics team.
• Prepare high-quality scientific reports, manuscripts, and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Genetics , Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in genomic data analysis, preferably within a research or drug discovery setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing various types of genomic data (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq) using common bioinformatics tools and pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in relevant libraries and statistical packages.
• Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a fully remote team environment.
