Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in the Eastern Cape seeks a skilled professional to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the secondary plant, sustaining or enhancing energy supply and meeting regional objectives.

You will work in the Secondary Plant department (Southern Grid), at Task Grade T12, with a National Diploma in Electrical, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• National Diploma / National N Diploma Electrical at NQF 6 with 240 Credits.
• Coaching, mentoring, team player, developing.
• Knowledge of Eskom’s procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of Eskom’s business and financial procedures.
• Knowledge of statutory/legislative requirements.
• Knowledge of network, plant, and equipment.
• Basic understanding of Secondary Plant Systems.

• Computer/OT skills.
• Technical knowledge and analytical skills to diagnose problems in electrical equipment or systems and develop appropriate solutions.
• Interpersonal relations.
