Job summary

Eskom invites applications for an engineering specialist to ensure the Secondary Plant is operated and maintained safely to sustain or enhance supply continuity for the Western Grid, based in Vredendal, South Africa.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment and grid systems, SHEQ compliance, and ability to contribute to data integrity, fault investigations, and emergency preparedness within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering knowledge and analytical skills to diagnose problems and develop solutions.
• Experience with grid operations and maintenance in a utility environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with statutory/legislative requirements relevant to electrical infrastructure.
