Job summary

iSanqa Resourcing Cape Town is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong HCM/HR and Payroll experience to join the team on an initial 12-month contract in Cape Town. The role focuses on business-improvement, translating requirements into effective SAP solutions and delivering robust ABAP developments.

You will work across SAP development in HR and Payroll, covering ECC and HANA/S/4HANA environments, ABAP Objects, BAdIs and user exits, with a mix of development, debugging and performance

Qualifications

• Senior SAP ABAP developer with strong SAP HCM/HR and Payroll experience.
• Experience across SAP ECC and SAP HANA/S/4HANA environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical SAP solutions.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality ABAP enhancements and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP.
• Deliver technical solutions supporting HCM/HR and Payroll processes.
• Analyze SAP processes to identify improvements and optimisations.
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and custom SAP functionality.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to deliver improvements.
• Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, testing and deployment.
• Participate in continual SAP environment improvements.
