Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg is seeking a junior SAP ABAP developer with hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA to support developments under guidance from senior developers. You will contribute to ABAP development tasks such as reports, ALV, enhancements, debugging, unit testing, and technical documentation, while building practical skills across the SAP stack.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of ABAP experience, good analytical and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and grow

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with reports, ALV, Data Dictionary, function modules, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP programs, reports, and ALV outputs.
• Assist with enhancements, debugging, unit testing, and technical documentation.
• Translate functional specifications into technical developments.
• Support issue resolution and defect tracking.
• Collaborate with senior developers and team members.
