Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive sanitation management experience with leadership in complex environments.
• Extensive knowledge of sanitation principles, cleaning technologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA, HACCP).
• Budget management and cost control experience.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Upington, Northern Cape, ZA with demanding schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all sanitation and hygiene operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation programs, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead, train, and mentor the sanitation team, fostering safety, accountability, and high performance.
• Manage departmental budgets, controlling costs related to supplies, equipment, and labor.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
