Placements24 in Upington, Northern Cape, is seeking a Senior Sanitation Technician to lead the cleaning and sanitation team in our industrial facility.

You will oversee daily cleaning, manage inventory, train staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, applying knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

This role demands leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cleaning/sanitation, with supervisory exposure.
• Proven leadership and team management in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities to meet hygiene standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for operations.
• Inspect cleaning operations for quality control and improvements.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment; ensure proper storage.
• Train and mentor junior cleaning staff on sanitation techniques and safety.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; manage waste disposal.
