Qualifications

Job Summary:

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping connected digital ecosystems that seamlessly integrate applications, services, and data layers.

The Senior Developer is a senior-level position that will take accountability for providing technicalleadership on the development, design and implementation of complex new or modifiedapplications and/or system software. This position will focus on large development projects and
will be responsible for the full software development cycle, from conception to development andthe provision of technical leadership for all development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Lifecycle Development:
• Understanding the product goals and related strategy and communicating with stakeholders(including clients) to clarify and define requirements
  Researching, designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise and business architecture
  Contributing to the creation and review of a systems capability strategy
  Providing technical leadership to ensure the highest standard of code is produced by teammembers after being thoroughly tested
  Developing and/or selecting critical components of the overall solution
  Specifying and designing large and complex systems
  Designing, coding, testing, correcting and documenting new and amended softwarecomponents from agreed specifications, and agreed subsequent iterations, using agreed
  standards and tools
  Assisting with the appropriate allocation of tasks to team members, including coaching andmentoring less experienced developers and/or graduates
  Participating in the review of own work and leading review of the work of others
  Analyzing business processes to identify potential alternative and new approaches or solutions, including automation, cost assessment, benefits and change impacts
  Assists with the definition and management of business goals and the scoping of large orcomplex changes
  Defining solution development projects to meet business goals and contributes to theimprovement of the solution development process
  Ensuring that solution development projects or programmes are delivered on time, in budgetand meets quality targets and aligns to the appropriate standards, methods and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• At least 8 year’s previous experience in a corporate or consulting
  environment
  At least 6 year’s focused programming, front and back-end coding and/orsoftware / application development experience
  Experience providing technical leadership
  Experience of IT in a complex business environment with the ability to
  translate technical concepts into business terms
  Experience of dealing with relevant stakeholders, managing expectationsin the pursuit of improved services
  Experience of developing and implementing relevant strategies in a multisupplier environment, managing third party services
