Job summary

Yuppiechef is seeking a store operations leader to drive exceptional in-store experience across our premium brand. You will work with the retail team and store management to deliver world-class service while hitting sales targets.

You will oversee daily store operations, train staff, manage stock levels, and ensure a welcoming, clean store environment. The role requires 3–5 years in premium retail and strong customer focus to uphold our brand at every customer touchpoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a premium brand retail environment.
• Experience with POS and stock management systems.
• Grade 12 / Matriculation is required.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Train new employees on store policies, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to ensure stock availability.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness standards to provide an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in scheduling and managing employee shifts to optimize staffing levels.
• Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving overall store performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the store.

What experience and skills you need for the role

• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a premium brand in a retail environment with a knowledge of sales principles
• Knowledge of various POS and stock management systems. You must feel comfortable working with different systems and technology
• Experience in a customer-centric brand
• Grade 12 / Matriculation
• Advantageous: Supervisory experience

Pay and Benefits:

We pay competitive, market-related salaries based on skills and experience. Your salary is based on a “Total Cost To Company” model and includes:
