Job summary

Vumilia Africa Group (Pty) Ltd seeks a dedicated Risk Officer to develop and continuously improve the OHS Management System across manufacturing operations. You will lead risk assessments, inspections, investigations and safety training to build a strong safety culture and compliance.

This role emphasizes proactive hazard identification, regulatory compliance, and reporting to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent required.
• Safety/Risk Management Certificate or NOSA SAMTRAC essential.
• Proficient MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of OHS Act and related regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OHS policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.
• Coordinate safety training and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain training records and SHE reporting to management.
• Assist with budget and PPE management.
• Ensure statutory obligations are met and updated.
