Job summary

Boerhinger Ingelheim South Africa is seeking a Ruminant Technical Manager based in Johannesburg to drive sustainable growth of the ruminant portfolio through technical excellence and strong customer partnerships.

You will support product launches, lifecycle management, and market development, engaging veterinarians, feedlots, dairy and beef producers, distributors, and industry stakeholders with credible technical support.

Qualifications

• BVSc degree and SAVC registration are required.
• 5–8 years experience in cattle health, animal health, or veterinary pharma in SA.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary and scientific leadership for the ruminant portfolio in South Africa.
• Support product launches, portfolio development, and market development initiatives.
• Lead technical readiness and customer engagement for new launches and lifecycle management.
• Deliver technical training, workshops, and tailored herd-health programs to customers.
