Placements24 is seeking a Senior Route Planner to join our Rustenburg logistics team. You will design and optimize routes, analyze traffic patterns, and ensure timely deliveries across the North West province.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of route planning, logistics, or transportation management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced route optimization software such as Descartes or Oracle TMS.
• Strong understanding of Rustenburg road networks and logistical challenges.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel or logistics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize delivery routes for a diverse vehicle fleet.
• Analyze geographical data, traffic patterns, and time windows to create efficient schedules.
• Utilize routing software and provide technical support to dispatchers.
• Monitor route performance in real time and adjust as needed.
