Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking an experienced administrator to manage retirement fund cases under Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act. The role requires interpreting legislation, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate outcomes through independent work.

You will handle documentation processing, QA checks, client service delivery, and collaboration with internal staff to resolve beneficiary allocations while maintaining governance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Matric (essential) and a post-matric qualification preferred.
• 1–2 years of retirement fund administration experience.
• Basic understanding of the Pension Funds Act, with exposure to Section 37C advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex administrative tasks in accordance with SLA parameters in a processing environment.
• Follows standardised processes in line with normal business functioning.
• Provides service to our deceased members’ family and responds to immediate administrative requirements.
• Delivers on daily production standards and conducts quality checks on own work.
• Builds strong partnerships with internal staff to provide good service and resolves issues proactively.
