Placements24 is seeking a Senior Residential Architect to lead design development for high-end homes and multi-unit residential projects in Benoni, Gauteng. You will oversee concept through to construction documentation, mentor junior staff, and maintain client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds PrArch with SACAP, 7+ years in residential architecture, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and a proven track record delivering quality, compliant designs within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Professional Architect registration (PrArch) with SACAP or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of architectural experience focused on residential projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of residential building codes, materials, and construction methods in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of residential projects, including bespoke homes and multi-unit complexes.
• Manage projects from initial client consultations and concept design through to construction documentation and site supervision.
• Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations, zoning laws, and aesthetic standards.
