Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Lead Video Editor to join its creative team working remotely. You will oversee end-to-end post-production, including editing, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics to deliver polished videos that meet marketing goals.

You should bring at least 6 years of professional editing experience, a strong portfolio, and expert command of industry-standard tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in film/media.
• 6+ years of professional video editing experience demonstrated by a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid motion graphics familiarity with After Effects is highly desirable.
• Strong storytelling, attention to detail, and creative flair.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage into engaging narratives aligned with project objectives.
• Perform color grading, audio mixing, and sound design to enhance quality.
• Incorporate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects as required.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and team members to realize vision.
• Manage video assets and maintain organized workflow and archiving.
• Stay up-to-date with editing software and industry trends.
