The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 5+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry required.
• Minimum of 5 years postdoctoral or industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
• Strong theoretical understanding of reaction mechanisms and stereochemistry.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-step synthetic pathways for complex organic molecules.
• Purify and characterize synthesized compounds using advanced analytical techniques (NMR, LC-MS, HPLC).
• Optimize reaction conditions to improve yield, purity, and scalability.
• Develop new synthetic methodologies and strategies.
• Troubleshoot challenging synthetic problems and devise innovative solutions.
• Document all experimental procedures and results thoroughly and maintain laboratory notebooks.
