Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Automotive Test Automation Engineer to join the QA team. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for automotive software, collaborating with global development teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
With 4+ years in software testing and automation, you will work with Python, Selenium/Appium, and CI/CD tools in a fully remote environment.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Experience with embedded systems or automotive software.
- Proficient in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration for a remote team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for automotive software.
- Identify test scenarios for automation and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain test data generation and management strategies.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.
- Collaborate with developers and system engineers to understand requirements.
- Contribute to tool selection and implementation for test automation.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and resolve with teams.
- Stay updated on trends in test automation and automotive QA.
