Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional VFX experience in the game industry.
• Proven real-time VFX for cinematics and storytelling.
• Expert in Unreal Engine or Unity and VFX tools.
• Strong knowledge of particle systems, fluids, shaders, and materials.
• Strong artistic fundamentals and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality real-time visual effects for cinematics and events using Unreal or Unity.
• Design particle systems, shaders, textures, and simulations for fire, smoke, explosions, magic.
• Collaborate with cinematic team to define the visual style and technical requirements.
• Optimize VFX assets for performance and memory usage within the game engine.
• Work with art directors and technical artists to develop and maintain VFX style guides and best practices.
• Iterate on effects based on feedback from directors, leads, and art teams.
• Mentor junior VFX artists and contribute to the overall artistic direction of the team.
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in real-time VFX creation.
