Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in RAN optimization and performance engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G NR RAN technologies; proficient with RF principles and propagation.
• Experience with scripting (Python) for automation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze RAN performance data (call drop rates, data throughput, latency, etc.) to identify optimization opportunities. Develop and implement detailed optimization plans for 4G and 5G networks, including parameter tuning and feature configuration. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for network performance issues and recommend corrective actions. Utilize drive testing tools and post-processing software for RF performance assessment and reporting. Collaborate with network planning, deployment, and operations teams to ensure effective implementation of optimization solutions. Stay abreast of new RAN technologies, features, and vendor updates. Develop and maintain documentation for optimization procedures, best practices, and performance reports. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior RAN engineers. Participate in capacity planning and network evolution discussions. Ensure consistent alignment with national and international telecommunications standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in RAN optimization and performance engineering. In-depth knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G NR RAN technologies, including key parameters and features. Proficiency with RAN optimization tools (e.g., Atoll, TEMS, Nemo) and data analysis software. Strong understanding of RF principles, antenna systems, and propagation. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team. Familiarity with network planning and core network elements is beneficial. Ability to interpret complex network performance metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
