Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage advanced 5G core network solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and execute strategic network expansion plans, including capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and product development, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including design diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in telecommunications and 5G.
• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations, safeguarding network integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in telecommunications network engineering, with a strong focus on 5G technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of 5G NR, SA/NSA architecture, core network elements (AMF, SMF, UPF), and related protocols.
• Proven experience with network virtualization (NFV), software-defined networking (SDN), and cloud-native principles.
• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, and network security best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) for network management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Nokia/Ericsson 5G certifications) are a significant advantage.
