The Professional Quantity Surveyor role is based in Cape Town within an established PQS consultancy. You will deliver a full QS service across high-value building and property projects, working closely with clients, architects, consultants and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have strong post-qualification experience, SACQSP registration, and excellent communication. You will manage projects from inception to completion, performing cost planning, valuation, and final accounts in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Professionally Registered Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP.
• Strong communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Full Quantity Surveying functions from feasibility through to final account.
• Cost planning, estimating and cost management.
• Preparation and evaluation of Bills of Quantities.
• Tender documentation and tender evaluation.
• Valuations and payment certificates.
• Variation and change-order management.
• Contract administration.
• Cost reporting and forecasting.
• Final accounts.
• Client and professional team liaison.
• Providing professional QS advice throughout the project lifecycle.
