Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Analyst for our client in Rustenburg, North West. The successful candidate will perform analytical testing across raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring compliance with GMP and ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in pharmaceutical QC laboratory.
• Proficiency in HPLC and GC.
• GMP and ICH knowledge.
• Experience with method validation and transfer.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking.
• Proficiency with LIMS and related software.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Proactive approach to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of materials and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR.
• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Review and interpret analytical data per specifications.
• Document all laboratory activities per GMP and SOPs.
• Investigate OOS results and deviations; participate in root cause analysis.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis and other quality documentation.
• Contribute to audits as QC SME.
• Train and mentor junior QC analysts.
• Ensure efficient operation of the Rustenburg QC laboratory.
