Job summary

Biovac is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance leader to plan, direct, and optimize QA activities in a cGMP environment. You will oversee QA systems, deviations, CAPAs and change controls while ensuring regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

The role requires a strong background in vaccine/pharma manufacturing, supervisory experience, and the ability to implement continuous improvements across the PQS. Based in Cape Town with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Quality systems activities and ensure department goals are timeously obtained.
• Lead QA engagement with external stakeholders where quality systems are impacted.
• Coordinate and analyse site metrics with the PQS and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead audits and ensure closure of findings with appropriate communication.
