Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team in East London. You will develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues, mentoring junior QA members in a fast-paced development cycle.

You will lead manual and automated testing efforts across web and mobile apps, design testing frameworks, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Proven experience in designing and executing both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and mobile apps.
• Execute manual and automated tests; identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
• Mentor junior QA engineers on testing techniques and best practices.
