Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for our software portfolio. This fully remote role in South Africa focuses on delivering robust test coverage across functional, regression, and performance domains.

You will implement automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects while driving QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• At least 5+ years in QA automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Implement end-to-end testing strategies (functional, regression, performance).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for fixes.
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements and methodologies.
