Placements24 in East London, South Africa, is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dedicated QA team. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with developers.

You will develop and execute test plans, design automated tests with Selenium, Appium, and Postman, and drive defect tracking to resolution. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience designing and executing test cases for web and/or mobile apps.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Postman).

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new and existing features.
• Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reports in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
