Capital International Limited seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to analyse user stories, design and execute test scenarios, and validate AI-generated artefacts within an Agile SDLC. The role emphasizes GenAI-assisted test design, Gherkin scripting, and collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, and QA peers to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field (preferred).
• ISTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user stories and requirements to design test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test sets.
• Prepare user stories for test execution and ensure they meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing as required.
• Ensure user stories are sufficiently covered by tests and aligned to business value.
• Report on user stories that are ready for release and highlight quality risks.
• Participate in Three Amigos sessions to refine user stories and ensure shared understanding.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to identify automation candidates.
• Write clear, maintainable Gherkin test scripts using Specification by Example.
• Maintain test documentation in Jira, Confluence, and X-Ray for Jira.
