Job summary

impact.com is seeking a QA Lead to elevate quality across IO and AI groups, owning testing end-to-end and coaching engineers to take ownership of quality. You will help shape how teams design, build, and ship with a unified quality discipline across platform and AI products.

You will drive evaluation systems, harnesses, and guardrails for AI testing, while maintaining strong automation and CI/CD practices. Collaboration and leadership by influence are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Software Development.
• Engineering in Test (SDET) background with strong test automation.
• Leadership through influence, not a centralized QA queue.
• Experience testing AI systems, evals, and guardrail testing.
• Strong automation, CI/CD and cloud familiarity.
• Proactive, principled approach to quality across teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the quality bar and operating model for IO and AI groups.
• Lead the QA chapter and coach engineers to own testing.
• Develop testing harnesses, evaluation systems and guardrails for AI products.
• Define quality signals and drive continuous improvement.
• Influence and collaborate with engineering leads and product managers.
