Job summary

Open Box Software, LLC is seeking a QA Engineer to join our internationally focused consulting team. This permanent, hands-on role focuses on designing, writing and maintaining automated test suites and leading QA engineering initiatives that shape how we test across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA, experience with Playwright or similar frameworks, and is comfortable applying AI tools to testing to improve speed, coverage and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience.
• Experience with Playwright or similar frameworks and building test suites.
• Automation of tests for React applications and broader tech stacks.
• Hands-on AI usage in delivery or testing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain and improve automated test suites across client projects.
• Build out and extend Playwright or similar test frameworks.
• Design and implement automated tests for applications across technologies.
• Lead technical QA initiatives and establish best practices.
• Apply AI tools to improve testing speed, coverage and quality.
• Review requirements and design docs for testability.
• Identify, document and track defects through testing.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, PMs and clients to embed quality.
• Investigate and document better practices for future delivery.
