Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Senior QA Engineer with automation expertise to join our IT QA team in Nelspruit. You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability before release.

Responsibilities include building robust test frameworks for web and mobile apps, writing automated scripts in Python/Java/JavaScript, and collaborating with developers to identify testable components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages used for automation (Python/Java/JavaScript).
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium or Playwright.
• CI/CD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and mobile apps.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using various languages and tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify testable components.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvement.
