Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Senior QA Engineer with expertise in test automation to join the quality assurance team in Mahikeng. You will design, develop, and implement comprehensive automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software products and customer satisfaction.

You will lead the design and execution of automated tests for web and mobile apps, collaborate with developers and product managers, and contribute to ongoing QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages used in test automation (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with popular test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear information.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
