Job summary

Reverside is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Johannesburg to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks that support the continuous delivery of high-quality software. You will work closely with Agile teams to implement functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing while driving automation best practices across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience required.
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• API testing experience (RestSharp) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of C# or Java and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing.
• Create test plans, test cases, and automation documentation.
• Perform defect tracking, reporting, and resolution support.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
• Promote test automation best practices in Agile ceremonies.
