Job summary

ALSTOM Gruppe seeks a Project Quality Safety Manager for the Gautrain project to lead quality and safety across the full lifecycle, from tender to contract closure. You will coordinate the PQMP, drive customer satisfaction, support audits, and mentor cross‑functional teams in Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement to ensure compliance with contract requirements and railway standards.

Experience in railway projects, Six Sigma valued, and strong collaboration with suppliers and internal teams

Qualifications

• Graduate or post-Graduate Degree in Engineering.
• Qualification in Six Sigma valued.
• Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience in teams/people management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Represent Quality in project team and drive customer satisfaction.
• Establish, document, implement and improve the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Industrial and Supplier quality to ensure compliance.
• Support audits, reviews and approval of supplier quality systems.
• Monitor progress, report on quality competencies and ensure timely quality deliverables.
