Placements24 seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive delivery of technology projects for clients, with a remote-first setup and global reach. You will lead planning, scope, timelines, budgets, and risk management while coordinating a distributed team.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor's degree, PMP or equivalent certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in wine/agri-F&B is advantageous.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects for clients in the wine industry.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Experience working with clients in specialized industries, such as agriculture, food & beverage, or specifically the wine industry, is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of technology solutions, software development lifecycles, and implementation processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools.
• Must be comfortable and effective working in a fully remote capacity, ideally within a timezone conducive to collaboration with teams in South Africa .
