The role blends in‑office collaboration with hybrid flexibility to drive operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma and structured project governance.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, map processes, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver measurable efficiency gains.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of project management experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt essential.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, execution and completion of projects focused on operational improvement and efficiency gains.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through data analysis and root cause investigation.
• Develop detailed project charters, scope statements, work breakdown structures, and project schedules.
• Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, ensuring effective allocation and utilisation.
• Implement and manage Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DMAIC) to drive process improvements and quality enhancements.
• Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, providing guidance and support to project team members.
• Monitor project progress against milestones, track KPIs, and report findings to senior management.
• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure sustainable adoption of new processes and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges.
• Ensure all project outcomes align with the company's strategic objectives and quality standards.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent manufacturing and industrial services group, is actively seeking a strategic Senior Project Manager to drive operational excellence initiatives. This role will be based in Mahikeng, North West , with a Hybrid work arrangement allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be instrumental in identifying and implementing process improvements, optimising workflows, and leading projects that enhance efficiency and productivity across various departments. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This is a key position to contribute significantly to the company's continuous improvement efforts and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is essential.
• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Visio) and process mapping tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work effectively in a Hybrid model in Mahikeng, North West .
