Job summary

You will own projects from planning through to delivery, establishing scope, milestones and governance while driving accountability across cross-functional teams. The role requires managing stakeholders and delivering outcomes in dynamic settings with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong practical project management experience within complex organisations.
• Proven experience managing projects across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
• Ability to lead and influence people without direct reporting authority.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in environments with changing priorities and ambiguous requirements.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a hands-on delivery approach.
• Good understanding of project management tools, processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Convert broad business objectives into clear scope, milestones and deliverables.
• Develop practical project plans and governance structures.
• Drive accountability and delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and constraints.
• Maintain momentum in environments with evolving ownership scenarios.
• Coordinate multiple internal stakeholders and functional teams.
• Provide clear project updates, reporting and escalation.
• Support technology and software implementation or roll-out projects.
• Introduce practical project management processes suited to the business environment.
• Ensure lessons learned and improvement opportunities are incorporated into future projects.
• Maintain a strong focus on business outcomes rather than process for its own sake.
