Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their mining operations in Mahikeng . This on-site role requires a leader with a strong understanding of mining processes, safety protocols, and operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for managing diverse projects, from equipment upgrades and process improvements to new infrastructure development, ensuring they are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep commitment to safety, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of mining operational projects, ensuring alignment with safety and production goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
Oversee project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standards.
Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols and environmental regulations across all project sites.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively manage issues to minimize operational disruption.

Requirements
