Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee major industrial operations projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, cost, schedule, and risk, and ensure safety and quality compliance across sites.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant PM experience in heavy industry, a degree in engineering or operations, and PMP/Prince2 certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of industrial processes, supply chain management, and operational excellence principles.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing on-site presence with remote planning and reporting.
