Job summary

VML is seeking a Project Manager with Commerce experience and a technical background to join our eCommerce Team in South Africa. You will lead complex projects, manage multiple workstreams, and work closely with leadership to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has proven software development project management experience, eCommerce exposure, and a strong understanding of SDLC and release management. A hybrid work arrangement in South Africa is available.

Qualifications

• Proven software development project management experience.
• eCommerce experience, ideally within a retail environment.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management.
• Ability to define, manage, and deliver to customer expectations within strict deadlines.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to change with critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Manage multiple workstreams and interdependencies.
• Produce accurate status reports on milestones, risks and issues for stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with senior management and stakeholders.
• Support Junior Project Managers within the account.
• Maintain project budgets and resource plans.
