Job summary

VML/WPP Enterprise Solutions seeks an experienced Project Manager with eCommerce experience and a technical background to join our South Africa-based eCommerce Team. You will lead complex projects, align with the Programme Manager, and drive delivery within budget and schedule.

You will manage multiple workstreams, resolve blockers, and provide accurate status reports to stakeholders. A strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and agile methods is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with eCommerce projects and retail environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management.
• Ability to define, manage, and deliver to customer expectations within strict deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and drive change with critical thinking.
• Experience leading and managing teams across different lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Provide solutions to blockers and ensure timely milestones.
• Produce status reports on milestones, risks, and issues for stakeholders.
• Manage multiple workstreams and interdependencies.
• Inspire teams with varying Agile experience and suggest improvements.
• Support Junior Project Managers within the account.
• Maintain project budgets and resource plans.
