Job summary

Network Contracting is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a six-month contract in the banking sector. You will lead end-to-end delivery, coordinating with business, technology, risk, compliance, operations and third-party partners to achieve strategic outcomes.

You will develop charters, plans and governance artefacts, manage budgets and RAID logs, and report to executives. The role demands strong stakeholder influence and a track record of delivering complex enterprise projects within banking

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, roadmaps and delivery milestones.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies and success measures, and drive delivery from initiation through closure.
• Ensure adherence to the BDLC, SDLC, governance frameworks and the bank's minimum standards.
• Facilitate Steering Committees, Working Groups and Exco reporting, ensuring governance artefacts and audit evidence.
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners, sponsors, technology teams, vendors and external partners.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, expenditure tracking and resource planning.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, maintaining RAID logs and mitigation plans.
• Produce accurate project status reports, dashboards, financial updates and executive reporting.
• Support organisational change, business readiness, implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Track benefits against approved business cases and coordinate post-implementation reviews.
