Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to own the technical contractual scope and lead the project engineering team through the full lifecycle of railway solutions. You will manage risk, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive design choices with peers and the Solution Director.

The role requires a Master in Project Engineering Management and a strong engineering background with customer-facing experience in contractual environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Master in Project Engineering Management or equivalent.
• Engineering background with end-to-end project deployment experience.
• Hands-on team management experience, either functional or hierarchical.
• Cost and planning control experience within engineering scope.
• Experience managing customer relationships in contractual contexts.
• Knowledge of products/services across Urban, Mainline, F&M segments.
• Safety background and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the technical contractual scope to meet quality, cost, delivery and performance commitments.
• Oversee project solution customization and configuration to satisfy QCDP targets.
• Lead the Project Engineering team and allocate engineering tasks.
• Interface with the project core team and support industrialization, sourcing, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Supervise verification and validation activities and ensure engineering plan compliance.
• Coordinate change control and maintain documentation through the Engineering Management Plan.
