Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Sandton, Gauteng operations. The role oversees engineering aspects of large-scale construction projects, ensuring technical integrity, quality, and timely delivery.

Collaboration with project managers, site teams, and external consultants is essential to resolve design challenges and ensure standards compliance. The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree, with 8+ years of progressively responsible project engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional registration (e.g., Pr Eng, Pr Tech Eng) with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing the engineering aspects of large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in Gauteng/Sandton projects is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering oversight for construction projects.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
