Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Project Architect to lead the design and execution of large mixed-use developments in Mahikeng. You will guide projects from concept through construction, coordinating with developers, stakeholders and construction teams to deliver sustainable architectural solutions.

The role requires SACAP registration, 10+ years of mixed-use experience, and strong leadership to manage complex multi-disciplinary teams across all project phases in the North West region.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Architect with SACAP.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with strong focus on mixed-use and large-scale developments.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects through all project phases and to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for large-scale mixed-use developments from feasibility to completion.
• Coordinate and manage design consultants, including urban planners, landscape architects and engineers.
• Develop and present design proposals to clients, investors and local authorities.
• Ensure designs meet planning, building code and regulatory requirements in South Africa.
• Oversee construction documentation and administration, ensuring quality and adherence to design intent.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources for developments in Mahikeng.
