The role demands a registered SACAP architect with a strong urban design portfolio and significant leadership experience, including stakeholder engagement and GIS-enabled planning.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Architect with SACAP and a strong portfolio in urban design/planning.
• 10+ years of experience in architectural practice, with 5+ years in leadership or urban planning.
• Expertise in urban design, land use planning, and zoning regulations.
• Proficiency with GIS and planning tools such as Urbanistica and CityEngine.

Responsibilities

• Lead master plan conceptualization and development for new urban developments.
• Direct and manage architectural and planning teams through project lifecycles.
• Liaise with local government, stakeholders, and developers for approvals.
• Develop strategies for sustainable urban design, green spaces, and transport networks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses for Rustenburg opportunities.
• Present complex concepts to diverse audiences including public forums and government bodies.
