Job summary

RED|LINE Recruitment is seeking a Professional Architect in Cape Town to lead large, complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams from design through construction close-out. The role requires post-registration experience and SACAP registration.

Experienced in PROCSA Stages 3–6 and JBCC Principal Agent duties, you will drive technical accuracy and regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff and supporting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex architectural projects through PROCSA Stages 3–6.
• Act as JBCC Principal Agent, administering construction contracts and managing projects through construction and close-out.
• Lead multidisciplinary consultant coordination with architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire, wet services and specialist consultants.
• Produce and oversee high-quality technical and construction documentation.
• Manage project programmes, technical coordination, design development, documentation, contract administration and site delivery.
• Review and approve architectural documentation prepared by project teams.
