Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Ensure that production targets are met in terms of quantity and quality.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, quality deviations, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping and safety regulations.
• Assist in training junior operators on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements.
• Follow all production schedules and instructions provided by the shift supervisor or management.
• Handle materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to all quality control protocols throughout the production process in the Mossel Bay facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Operator in a manufacturing or production environment .
