Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Rustenburg production facility in North West. You will drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability across production, supply chain, quality, maintenance and health & safety.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in industrial operations. You will shape the site’s future operational strategy and foster a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production facilities.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and QA systems.
• Experience with budget control and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies for production, quality, cost and delivery.
• Oversee daily plant operations ensuring safe and efficient performance.
• Manage budgets, costs, and identify savings opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, logistics and quality.
• Implement KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, enviromental and regulatory requirements.
• Champion lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
