Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and growth of a digital product portfolio based at our Mossel Bay office in the Western Cape. The role demands defining product vision and strategy, and translating insights into actionable plans to drive successful product development cycles.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, and sales, manage backlogs, and drive launches with a focus on market needs and business

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in product management.
• Experience in defining product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital products.
• Conduct market, competitive, and user research to identify opportunities.
• Prioritize features based on business value, user needs and feasibility.
• Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and specs.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales through the development lifecycle.
• Manage the product backlog and sprint planning processes.
• Launch new products and features with marketing and sales for adoption.
• Monitor product performance and iterate on improvements.
• Act as primary point of contact for product inquiries.
