Job summary

Square 1 Recruitment seeks a Senior Process Sales Engineer (Specialist Minerals Processing Equipment) to drive technical sales into the mining and minerals processing sector from the East Rand, South Africa. The role requires understanding client processes and proposing fit-for-purpose equipment solutions, with engagement of EPCMs and engineers.

You will develop proposals, quotes and tenders, and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, including site visits and commissioning support

Qualifications

• Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering degree required.
• Experience selling process equipment into mining/minerals processing.
• Strong knowledge of filtration, solid/liquid separation, dewatering processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of specialist process equipment into mining/minerals processing sector.
• Develop new business and manage relationships with EPCMs and clients.
• Prepare technically sound proposals, quotations and tenders.
• Engage with engineers and technologists to tailor equipment solutions.
• Travel to client and project sites as required.
